Walkway and Handrail Installation | Wimbledon Train Care Depot

We are delighted to have completed a project for South West Railway (SWR) at Wimbledon Train Care Depot in London. At this site, we installed a new safe walkway, which consisted of yellow (GRP) lightweight waffle boards. This was installed to ensure all depot staff had safe access and egress when using this authorised access route and provided a level walking area with safe underfoot conditions. Handrails were later installed in the areas of 3rd rail to provide safer access for all staff, including point handle operatives and shunting staff walking to and from the top yard panel .
